One of London’s hottest new artists, R & B singer/songwriter Raye, has dropped a brand new 6 track collaboration EP called ‘Side Tape’.

The budding songstress already has huge writing credits to her name after penning hits for artists such as Little Mix, John Legend and Charli XCX. She also wrote and featured on one of the biggest songs of 2017, Jax Jones’ ‘You Don’t Know Me’ which peaked at Number 3 in the UK.

The 2017 BBC Music Sound Of… award nominee has also gained a buzz for her experimentation with samples on her hit single ‘Decline’ (Featuring Mr Eazi) and on the Kojo Funds assisted track ‘Check’ which takes inspiration from Craig David’s 2000 hit ‘7 Days’.

In the run up to her EP release, the hit maker released two singles. First she stormed into the top 15 with ‘Decline’, before releasing a sultry female anthem called ‘Cigarette’ pulling in rising stars Mabel and Stefflon Don.

The six-track collaboration project features an array of artists who have all been gaining their deserved recognition in the industry. The Side Tape EP starts off with ‘Crew’, a Kojo Funds and Ray Blk assisted dance worthy love song which is followed by her hit ‘Decline’ and the flirty chill Caribbean feel of ‘Confidence’. The fourth track on the project, ‘Slower’, continues with the theme of love and being cautious in love before transitioning into the sultry second single ‘Cigarette’. Last on the line-up is ‘Wife Me’, a song which the star teased on social media earlier this week. The Steel Banglez collaboration is the perfect ending to her project as she leaves a strong lasting impression with the melodic masterpiece where she shows that she knows she’s worth more than just a fling.

In other news, Raye has also just been added to the star studded Capital FM Summer Time Ball line up alongside fellow collaborator Mabel, Camila Cabello and Rita Ora who she sets off on the ‘Girls’ tour with next week.

‘Side Tape’ is out now on all streaming platforms and available for digital download.
